Soccer Shots Omaha is Hiring a Youth Soccer Coach Near Omaha, NE

Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program with an emphasis on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication. 
Working with children is something we don’t take lightly, and it’s imperative that you not only enjoy working with children, but that you are incredibly passionate about it. This is what truly separates Soccer Shots from everyone else - we are in this to impact children in such a way that we leave a lasting impression on them that will give them the confidence to be successful both on and off the field. We want our 35-minute Soccer Shots sessions to be the BEST 35 minutes of each child’s week.
We will operate in daycares, preschools, community centers, and parks all over our area!
There is some flexibility in scheduling; meaning that if there are some mornings or afternoons where you aren’t available, we can work around that. You’ll be at the same locations at the same times each week, and we need you to be committed for the entire season.
The job description above is a part time position requiring fewer than 30 hours of work per week. Soccer Shots programs are offered during select weeks of the year, thus the employment is also per operational hours. 
LOCATION
  • Greater Omaha Area
SCHEDULE
  • Consistent weekly availability: 830am-1pm
  • Optional: Weekend availability: 830am - 1pm
  • Optional: Weekday evening availability: 4pm - 8pm
IDEAL COACH
  • Experience working with young children
  • Responsible & Professional | timeliness, self-assured, honest, dependable, safety-conscious, communicate professionally
  • Organized | plan ahead and are systematic in routine, conduct each session according to the curriculum
  • Experienced & Enthusiastic | proven experience engaging and leading young children
  • Fun & Creative | comfortable being goofy and imaginative with young children
  • Patient & Empathic | must be a patient person, willing to work through behavior and learning challenges
NICE TO HAVE
  • Soccer & Athletic Know-How | soccer skill as a player or coach is preferred, but not required
  • Education | education in Early Childhood Development is preferred, but not required
REQUIREMENTS
  • Physical Requirements | requires ability to run, stop, stoop, and bend in a minimum of 35-minute increments per session. The position requires use of hands, arms, legs and feet and may include lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion. 
  • Transportation & Cell Phone | must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s license and mobile phone with data
  • Clear Background | must pass a background check (including FBI fingerprint) and a Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Local | local candidates only please, no work status or visa sponsorship available
  • Applicant Minimum Age | 18 years old
